2020 Drive for Student Success!

Boomers love helping students reach their goals by setting them up for success in school!  This is an exceptional year when kids will have an especially difficult time being ready and having everything they need to start school off right.  So we are proud to be supporting the Trident United Way Young Leaders' initiative to get resources to our Tri-county area kids who need them.  Launching on SC Tax Free Weekend we were able to encourage our BoomTown Family to help us reach our supplies goal in record time!

Overall, the community equipped 1517 students with the full supply kit and a backpack.  Additionally, 110 classrooms were equipped with excess bulk supplies!  A total of 7,150 items were collected, valuing $38,873 with 15 companies participating!  BoomTown specifically collected 400 items valuing $1302, supporting 30 students and several classrooms from 38 very generous donors.
